“While our goal is for you to learn sign language, we are also committed to it being an enjoyable and positive experience.”
All of our instructors are Deaf and native sign speakers. We feel that this is very important because you are getting first hand training from people who use the language the most. Our programs on Deaf culture are extremely useful in understanding sign language and we are proud to say that all of our instructors have first hand knowledge about the Deaf community.
Our programs are all online which means that you can learn at your own pace and from anywhere in the world. While the programs are self-paced, this does not mean that you are alone. We have weekly Zoom sessions for questions that you may have or just to practice and meet other students. We do not want you to feel alone while you are learning sign language. We are here to support you.
Some of you want to learn another language when you are planning to travel. This will allow you to meet other Deaf communities outside of your country. We want you to be well prepared in advance by teaching you a new sign language and about their culture before you arrive at your destination.
Our membership program allows you access to our Deaf Community Café. This exciting and unique experience allows you to connect with members of the deaf community to practice what you are learning. Like learning any language, it’s practice that will make you better. While most people will start out as beginners, we also have intermediate and advanced sign language courses so that you can LEARN, GROW and COMMUNICATE.
